To cancel a signNow subscription on the web, sign in, open the Admin Console, go to the Subscription section and select Cancel your subscription. How to cancel a signNow subscription on the web

Web subscriptions are cancelled from the account itself, and only the account owner or an admin can do it.

1. Sign in to signNow in a browser with the account that pays for the plan.
2. Open the Admin Console from the left side menu.
3. Go to the Subscription section.
4. Select Cancel your subscription and confirm.
5. Keep the confirmation email. If you are later charged, it is the record that you cancelled before the renewal date.

Some of signNow's help pages describe the same button under a gear icon and a Billing tab, so if the menu looks different on your account, look for Billing or Subscription in account settings. If you do not see a cancel option at all, you are probably signed in as a team member rather than the admin, or the plan was bought through an app store.

How to cancel signNow on iPhone, iPad or Android

App store purchases are billed by Apple or Google, and signNow's support team says it cannot cancel or refund them. You cancel where you paid.

Deleting the app from your phone does not cancel anything. The subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it in the store.

Can you cancel signNow at any time?

Yes. signNow lets you cancel whenever you like, on monthly and annual plans alike, and there is no cancellation fee. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the current period early. In signNow's words, "your access to our services will continue until the end of your paid / trial period. No refund will be issued when you cancel."

That last sentence is the part to plan around on an annual plan. If you paid for a year in March and cancel in May, you keep access until next March and get nothing back for the unused months. Cancelling is still worth doing right away, because it removes the risk of forgetting before the renewal date, and both monthly and annual signNow plans renew automatically.

Does signNow give refunds?

signNow gives refunds only on request, only within 30 days of your first payment date, and not always. Its refund policy says requests for transactions older than 30 days are not eligible, that significant use of the service may indicate acceptance and lead to a refusal, and that usage-based fees are strictly non-refundable.

• Inside 30 days of your first payment, barely used: write to signNow support, say the product did not fit, and ask for the refund. This is the case the policy was written for.
• Inside 30 days, but you sent a lot of documents: ask anyway, but expect a possible refusal under the significant use clause.
• A renewal you forgot about: the 30 days count from your first payment, not from the renewal, so a renewal a year later is generally outside the window. Cancel so it does not happen again.
• Bought in an app: request the refund from Apple or Google, not signNow.

If a refund is approved, signNow says your access to the paid features ends at that point, so download what you need before you ask.

How to cancel a signNow free trial before you are charged

Cancel the trial the same way as a paid plan, from the Admin Console on the web or from the app store that started it, and do it before the last day. signNow's policy says the service renews automatically at the end of the free trial unless you cancel before the trial expires. Once the first charge goes through, you are in the paid period and the 30 day refund request is your only way back.

What to download before your signNow access ends

You keep access until the period ends, which gives you time to take your records with you. For every document you still need, download the signed PDF and its audit trail, the history of who signed, when and from which IP address. That trail is what you rely on if a signature is ever disputed, so store it next to the contract rather than trusting that an old account will still open in two years. Save any templates you built as PDFs too, because templates do not move between e-signature tools.

What signNow costs, and what switching costs

signNow is cheap for one person, and it is worth being honest about that before you move. Its published plans are priced per user, and the low headline prices require a year paid up front. Every signNow plan includes 100 signature invites per user per year, which is about two a week.

For one sender on an annual plan, signNow is the cheaper tool and SignSend is not trying to beat it there. The switch makes sense in two situations. The first is volume: if the 100 invites a year cap keeps stopping you, SignSend Pro has no document limit. The second is headcount on monthly billing: two people on Business Premium month to month cost $60, more than SignSend's $49 for the account. signNow cancellation questions

Why can't I find the cancel button in signNow?

You are most likely signed in as a team member instead of the account admin, or the plan was bought in the App Store or Google Play. Only the admin can cancel a web subscription, and app store subscriptions have to be cancelled in the store.

Does cancelling signNow delete my documents?

Cancelling stops the renewal and your access continues to the end of the paid period. Download your signed PDFs and audit trails during that time rather than relying on a lapsed account later.

Can I get a refund on a signNow annual plan?
