Xodo Sign pricing is $10 per user a month on Basic and $16 per user a month on Professional with yearly billing ($120 and $192 per user a year), or $20 and $32 per user month to month. Enterprise is a custom quote, the free plan sends 5 documents a month, and the eversign API starts at $50 a month. A three person team on Professional pays $576 a year.

Xodo Sign is eversign under a new name, and it is one of the cheaper e-signature tools per seat. The per-seat part is what decides your bill. The headline $10 assumes a yearly commitment and one sender, Basic stops at 3 templates, and every extra person who sends adds a full seat.

Below are the current plans from Xodo Sign's own pricing page, the yearly totals for 1 to 10 senders, the separate API price list, and an honest look at when Xodo Sign is the cheaper buy and when one flat plan for the office costs less.

Xodo Sign plans and prices

Xodo Sign sells a Free plan, two self-serve paid plans (Basic and Professional), a quoted Enterprise plan and separate API plans. Every paid eSignature plan is priced per seat, and a seat is a person who sends and manages documents. The people you send to sign for free and do not need an account.

PlanBilled yearlyBilled monthlyDocumentsWhat it adds
Free$0$05 a month (one every 7 days)One user, basic signing
Basic$10 per seat a month ($120 a year)$20 per seat a monthUnlimited3 templates, mobile app, Zapier, Dropbox and Gmail integrations, email support
Professional$16 per seat a month ($192 a year)$32 per seat a monthUnlimitedUnlimited templates, 10 bulk sending credits, 10 SMS credits, PDF editing, AI summarizer, custom branding, in-person signing
EnterpriseCustom quoteCustom quoteUnlimitedVolume templates, volume bulk sending and SMS, extra seats, dedicated account manager

Two details change the sticker price. The yearly discount is a full 50 percent, so the $10 and $16 everyone quotes are the yearly numbers; on monthly billing you pay $20 and $32. And Basic only holds 3 templates, so an office that reuses more than three standard agreements (an NDA, an engagement letter, a lease and an offer letter, say) is pushed to Professional.

Prices come from Xodo Sign's own pricing page, including the plan cards and the pricing FAQ underneath them. The seat selector on that page multiplies the per-seat price by the number of seats, and that is the number on the checkout.

How much does Xodo Sign cost for a team?

A team pays the per-seat price times the number of senders: three people are $360 a year on Basic and $576 on Professional with yearly billing, five are $600 and $960, and ten are $1,200 and $1,920. Monthly billing doubles every one of those numbers.

5$600$960$1,920$588 (Business)
10$1,200$1,920$3,840$588 (Business)

Read the first two rows honestly. One sender is cheaper on Xodo Sign Basic at $120 a year, and two senders on Basic ($240) still come in under SignSend Pro ($288) if three templates are enough for you. The math turns at the third person: SignSend Pro covers up to 3 people for one price of $288 a year with unlimited documents and templates, and Business covers up to 10 for $588. A five person office on Xodo Sign Professional pays $960; the same office on SignSend Business pays $588 and gets bulk send and its company name on the signing page.

How much does the eversign API cost?

The eversign API, now the Xodo Sign API, starts with a free sandbox and 2 production documents, then API Light at $50 a month billed yearly ($600 a year), for 50 API documents a month; no month to month API price is published. API Light also includes 10 templates, 20 SMS credits per user, 5 users and bulk sending through templates. API Business is a custom quote with unlimited templates, custom branding and more users.

API planPriceAPI documentsUsers
SandboxFree2 production documents, unlimited test documentsNot stated
API Light$50 a month, billed yearly50 a month, overage billing available5

The API is a separate subscription. Buying Basic or Professional does not give you API documents, and API documents do not count against the unlimited allowance on the eSignature plans. If your developers need to embed signing inside your own product, compare API Light with DocuSign API pricing. SignSend does not sell an API, so for that one job it is not the right pick.

Is Xodo Sign free, and what happens after the trial?

Xodo Sign's free plan allows up to 5 documents a month, at most one every 7 days, for a single user. The 7 day Professional trial needs no credit card, and when it ends the account drops to the Free plan unless you pick a paid plan.

The one-every-7-days rule is the part most people miss. Five documents a month sounds like a light office's whole workload, but you cannot send two in the same week. A bookkeeper who sends three engagement letters on a Monday in January hits the wall on the second one. That is the moment people go looking at the price list, and it is the point where the choice is really between Basic seats and a flat plan for the team.

Xodo Sign or SignSend for a small office?

Pick Xodo Sign if you are one or two senders, need PDF editing, SMS verification, in-person signing or an API. Pick SignSend if three to ten people send contracts and you want one yearly price instead of a seat for each of them.

Xodo Sign is a good product and it is honestly cheap per seat. It also does things SignSend does not: you can edit PDF text and redact before sending, verify signers by SMS, collect signatures in person on a tablet, and connect through Zapier. SignSend takes a PDF up to 20 MB, places the signature block, sends it, reminds the people who have not signed, and returns a signed copy with a full audit trail. Pro includes templates, signing order and deadlines for up to 3 people; Business adds bulk send for up to 200 recipients and your company name on the signing page for up to 10.

If the reason you are pricing Xodo Sign is that your team sends leases, engagement letters, offer letters or service agreements every week, the seat count is the number that decides the bill. See the full e-signature pricing comparison for every major vendor at the same team sizes.

What drives your Xodo Sign bill

Four things decide what you actually pay: seats, billing cycle, templates and the add-ons that only come with Professional.

A seat for every sender

Every paid Xodo Sign plan is priced per seat. Basic is $10 a seat a month on yearly billing and Professional is $16, so a four person office on Professional is $64 a month, not $16. Signers never need a seat.

Yearly billing halves the price

Xodo Sign's toggle says save 50 percent, and it means it. Basic is $20 a seat month to month and Professional $32. Most price quotes you read online are the yearly numbers.

Three templates on Basic

Basic includes unlimited documents but only 3 reusable templates. An office with more standard agreements than that moves to Professional, which raises the seat price by 60 percent.

Bulk send and SMS come as credits

Professional includes 10 bulk sending credits and 10 SMS credits based on your seat count. Volume bulk sending and SMS are on Enterprise, and extra SMS credits are bought separately.

The API is its own plan

API documents are not part of Basic or Professional. API Light is $50 a month yearly for 50 documents a month, with overage billing beyond that.

Cancellation waits for the term

Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period, and an annual plan runs to the end of the paid year. Upgrades are charged prorated straight away.

How to work out your real Xodo Sign cost

Four quick checks turn the $10 headline into the number on your card statement.

01

Count the people who send

Only senders need seats. Count everyone who uploads and sends documents, not the clients, tenants or hires who sign them.

02

Count your templates

If you reuse more than 3 standard documents, price Professional at $16 a seat yearly or $32 monthly, not Basic.

03

Pick the billing cycle

Multiply by 12 for yearly billing at $10 or $16, or by $20 or $32 a month if you will not commit for a year. The gap is exactly double.

04

Compare against a flat plan

Set that yearly total next to a plan that covers the whole office. At three senders, SignSend Pro is $288 a year against $360 on Basic and $576 on Professional.

Xodo Sign Professional against SignSend Pro

Both at their published prices. Xodo Sign charges each sender a seat; SignSend Pro is one price for up to 3 people.

Who feels Xodo Sign pricing the most

Offices with three or more senders

A brokerage, a bookkeeping firm or a property manager where three to ten people send agreements pays a seat for each one. That is where a single price for the office saves the most.

Teams that pay month to month

Monthly billing is twice the yearly rate. A team that will not commit to a year pays $32 a seat on Professional, which is $1,152 a year for three people.

Anyone stuck at 3 templates

Basic's 3 template cap pushes offices with a standard document set onto Professional. If the only reason to upgrade is templates, check whether a flat plan with templates is cheaper.

Developers who need an API

API Light at $50 a month yearly is a fair price for embedded signing at 50 documents a month. SignSend has no API, so this is a case where Xodo Sign or DocuSign is the honest answer.

Xodo Sign pricing questions, answered

How much does Xodo Sign cost?

Xodo Sign costs $10 per user a month on Basic and $16 per user a month on Professional when you pay yearly, which is $120 and $192 per user a year. Billed month to month the same plans are $20 and $32 per user. Enterprise is quoted by sales, and there is a free plan for up to 5 documents a month.

Is Xodo Sign the same as eversign?

Yes. Xodo Sign is the new name of eversign. Apryse, the company behind the Xodo PDF apps, bought eversign in 2022 and renamed it, and old eversign accounts moved over. The pricing page still lives at eversign.com/pricing, which is why both names show up in searches for the same price list.

Is Xodo Sign free?

Xodo Sign has a free plan, but it is small: up to 5 documents a month, one every 7 days, for one user. There is also a 7 day free trial of Professional with no credit card. Anyone who sends contracts every week ends up on Basic at $10 per user a month or on a flat plan.

How much does Xodo Sign cost for 3 users?

Three users cost $360 a year on Xodo Sign Basic and $576 a year on Professional with yearly billing. Month to month the same three seats are $60 and $96 a month. SignSend Pro covers the same 3 people with unlimited documents and templates for $288 a year, or $49 a month.

How much does the eversign API cost?

The Xodo Sign (eversign) API has a free sandbox with 2 production documents, then API Light at $50 a month billed yearly ($600 a year) for 50 API documents a month, 10 templates and 5 users. Higher volume is API Business at a custom price. The API is sold separately from the eSignature plans.

Can I cancel Xodo Sign at any time?

Yes, from the Subscription page in your account. Xodo Sign says downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and an annual plan stays active until the end of the paid year. Upgrades are charged prorated right away, so time a downgrade for the renewal date.

Is Xodo Sign cheaper than DocuSign?

Yes, at list price. Xodo Sign Basic is $120 per user a year against $132 for DocuSign Personal and $360 for DocuSign Standard, and Xodo Sign does not cap paid plans at an envelope allowance. For a team of 3 or more, a flat plan like SignSend Pro at $288 a year is cheaper than both.
