Acrobat Sign Solutions for Small Business and Adobe Sign Small Business Plan Pricing
Adobe does not publish a price for Acrobat Sign Solutions. For a small business, Adobe's own business page points to Acrobat Pro for teams at $23.99 per license a month, which is $863.64 a year for three people. Here is which plan you actually end up on, what it costs at your head count, and the limits that come with it.

What is Acrobat Sign Solutions for small business? It is the standalone version of Adobe's e-signature product, sold through Adobe sales or resellers by quote, with user licenses that each include 150 transactions a year. Most small businesses never buy it. Adobe's own business signing page sends small businesses to Acrobat Pro for teams ($23.99 per license a month) or Acrobat Studio for teams ($29.99), and keeps Acrobat Sign Solutions for medium and large companies.
So the real question a small business owner is asking is simpler: how many Acrobat licenses do I need, and what do they cost for a year? The answer depends on two numbers, the people who send documents for signature and whether anyone needs the PDF editor that comes with every Acrobat license. This page works through both with Adobe's published US prices.
Does Adobe have a small business plan for e-signatures?
Not as a separate e-signature product with a public price. Adobe's business signing page lists two plans for small businesses, Acrobat Pro for teams at $23.99 per license a month and Acrobat Studio for teams at $29.99, both on an annual plan, and Acrobat Standard for teams at $16.99 is on the pricing page as the cheapest team option. The standalone Acrobat Sign, described by Adobe as having unlimited seats, deeper integrations and compliance features, is for medium and large businesses and is sold by quote.
Adobe's help documentation does list an "Acrobat Sign SMB (Small Business)" service level. Licenses on that level include 150 transactions per user a year, 25 signers per transaction and no knowledge-based or phone authentication. It is sold through Adobe sales and resellers rather than through the checkout on adobe.com, which is why most small businesses searching for it end up on an Acrobat team plan instead.
Adobe Sign small business plan prices
These are the US prices on Adobe's Acrobat pricing page for the plans a small business can buy online. The annual prepaid figure is what one license costs for a year.
| Plan | Per license, annual billed monthly | Per license, annual prepaid | What it adds for signing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Acrobat Standard for teams | $16.99/mo | $203.88/yr | Request e-signatures and track them |
| Acrobat Pro for teams | $23.99/mo | $287.88/yr | Templates, web forms, bulk send, your logo and URL |
| Acrobat Studio for teams | $29.99/mo | $359.88/yr | Everything in Pro plus AI Assistant and Adobe Express |
| Acrobat Sign Solutions (small business, business, enterprise) | Quote | Quote | API, integrations, signer authentication on business tiers |
All three team plans include the Admin Console and 24x7 tech support. A one-person business can skip team plans entirely: Acrobat Standard for an individual is $179.88 a year prepaid and Acrobat Pro is $239.88, both with signing included.
Adobe Sign for small business pricing for 2 to 10 people
The yearly bill is the license price times the number of people who send. These totals use Adobe's annual prepaid team prices.
| People who send | Acrobat Standard for teams | Acrobat Pro for teams | Acrobat Studio for teams | SignSend |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | $407.76 | $575.76 | $719.76 | $288 (Pro) |
| 3 | $611.64 | $863.64 | $1,079.64 | $288 (Pro) |
| 5 | $1,019.40 | $1,439.40 | $1,799.40 | $588 (Business) |
| 8 | $1,631.04 | $2,303.04 | $2,879.04 | $588 (Business) |
| 10 | $2,038.80 | $2,878.80 | $3,598.80 | $588 (Business) |
A three-person office on the plan Adobe recommends, Acrobat Pro for teams, pays $863.64 a year. If all three only send contracts and never edit a PDF, $575 of that is the gap between the editor and a signing-only plan. At ten people the gap is $2,290 a year. For a single person the order is reversed: Acrobat Standard at $179.88 a year is cheaper than SignSend Pro at $288 and includes the editor.
Acrobat Sign for small business limits
These limits come from Adobe's "Understand transaction limits" help page. They apply per sending user license.
| Service level | Transactions per license per year | Signers per transaction | Pages per transaction | Knowledge-based and phone checks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Acrobat Standard (individual or teams) | Unlimited | 10 | 100 | None |
| Acrobat Pro (individual or teams) | Unlimited | 25 | 100 | None |
| Acrobat Sign SMB (small business) | 150 | 25 | 100 | None |
| Acrobat Sign for business (VIP) | 150 | 25 | 100 | 50 each |
| Acrobat Sign for enterprise | 150 | 25 | 500 | 50 each |
Two things stand out for a small business. First, the standalone small business level is the only one of the three Adobe options with a yearly transaction allowance, 150 per license, which is about 12 documents a month per person. Acrobat Standard and Pro have none. Second, the small business level has no signer identity checks at all, so if identity verification is the reason you are looking at Sign Solutions, you need the business tier, which is a larger quote.
Acrobat Pro for teams or Acrobat Sign Solutions for a small business?
For almost every small business, Acrobat Pro for teams. It has a public price, unlimited transactions, templates and bulk send, and you can buy it today without a sales call. Acrobat Sign Solutions makes sense only when you need something Pro for teams does not do: sending from your own software through the API, a Salesforce or Workday integration that writes signed documents back into records, or knowledge-based and phone authentication on signers.
Those three needs are common at a mortgage broker, an insurance agency with a CRM workflow or a staffing firm sending from an applicant tracking system. They are rare at a property manager, an accounting practice or a contractor, where someone uploads a PDF, adds the client and sends it. If your process looks like the second group, Sign Solutions is more product than you will use.
When Adobe is the right choice for a small business
Adobe is worth its price in three situations. When the same people also edit, convert and combine PDFs every day, because each license replaces a separate PDF editor. When you are already paying for Acrobat Pro for the PDF work, because signing then costs nothing extra. And when you need the integrations or signer authentication that only Acrobat Sign Solutions has. A solo owner who sends a few contracts a month and edits PDFs is also better off on Acrobat Standard at $179.88 a year than on any signing plan.
Adobe is the expensive choice when several people need signatures and nothing else. That is the usual small office: a front desk sending leases, a bookkeeper sending engagement letters, an operations manager sending vendor agreements. Each of them needs a license, and each license is mostly a PDF editor nobody opens.
A flat e-signature plan for a small business that only needs signing
SignSend Pro is $288 a year, or $49 month to month, for up to 3 people sending from one plan with a shared document list. It includes unlimited documents and unlimited signers, document templates you send again to new signers, reminders, a signing order, deadlines you can move, and an audit trail with a certificate of completion. Business is $588 a year for up to 10 people and adds bulk send to up to 200 recipients and your company name on the signing page.
It does less than Adobe. There is no PDF editor, no API, no CRM integration and no signer identity check, and each send is one PDF up to 20 MB. If you need any of those, buy Acrobat. If you need contracts signed by clients who should not have to create an account, you upload the PDF, add the signers and send. Signatures are legally binding under the U.S. ESIGN Act and state UETA laws. Our Adobe Acrobat Sign pricing page lists every Acrobat plan, and the Adobe Sign alternative page covers moving off Acrobat.
Contract terms to read before you buy Acrobat for teams
Team plans are annual commitments. Adobe's US subscription terms give a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of the first order. After that, on an annual plan billed monthly you are charged a lump sum of 50 percent of the remaining contract, or 30 percent of the annual commitment in California, and on an annual prepaid plan the payment is not refunded. Your access runs to the end of the period you paid for.
So size the license count to the people who send today, not the head count you expect next year, because adding licenses later is easy and removing them mid-term costs money. If you are comparing Adobe with DocuSign on the same basis, our DocuSign for small business page does the same per-seat arithmetic, and the best e-signature software for small business roundup ranks the options by team size.
What a small business pays Adobe for signing
Four things decide the bill, and only one of them is how many documents you send.
A license for every sender
Each person who sends documents for signature needs their own Acrobat license. The office manager who sends three contracts a month costs the same $287.88 a year on Pro for teams as the person who sends forty.
Templates and web forms are Pro features
Acrobat Standard for teams ($16.99) lets you request signatures. Reusable e-sign templates, web forms, sending in bulk and your logo on agreements start at Acrobat Pro for teams ($23.99), which is why Adobe leads small businesses there.
No public price on Sign Solutions
Acrobat Sign Solutions adds the API, Salesforce and Workday integrations, and signer checks by knowledge-based questions or phone on business tiers. It is quoted by Adobe sales at 800-915-9430, so budgeting it means a call.
An annual contract with an exit fee
Team plans are annual. On the plan billed monthly, cancelling after 14 days costs 50 percent of the remaining contract under Adobe's US subscription terms (30 percent of the annual commitment in California).
Admin console and support
Every Acrobat team plan includes the Admin Console to assign and move licenses and 24x7 tech support. That is the main difference from buying individual Acrobat plans for each person.
Signer and page limits
Adobe's help page lists 25 signers per transaction on Acrobat Pro and on Acrobat Sign for small business, 10 on Acrobat Standard, a 10 MB upload limit and 100 pages per transaction.
How to price Adobe Sign for your small business
Four checks, in this order. Most offices are done after the first two.
01
Count the people who send
List everyone who sends documents out for signature, including the person who does it twice a month. That number, not your employee count, is your license count.
02
Decide whether anyone needs the PDF editor
If people edit, convert, combine and OCR PDFs every day, Acrobat licenses pay for themselves and the signing comes free. If they only send contracts, you are paying for editors.
03
Check whether you need templates
If the same agreement goes out every week, you need reusable templates, which means Acrobat Pro for teams at $23.99 per license rather than Standard at $16.99.
04
Only then call about Sign Solutions
Call Adobe sales for Acrobat Sign Solutions only if you need the API, Salesforce or Workday integrations, or identity checks on signers. Otherwise you are buying Acrobat for teams.
Acrobat Pro for teams vs a flat e-signature plan

Small businesses that ask about Acrobat Sign
Property management offices
Two or three people send leases, renewals and move-in packets. None of them edits PDFs, so three Acrobat Pro team licenses at $863.64 a year buy mostly unused editors.
Accounting and bookkeeping practices
Engagement letters and IRS e-file authorizations go out in a burst every tax season. Templates matter, which pushes an Adobe buyer to Pro for teams.
Staffing agencies
Offer letters and onboarding paperwork go to dozens of people a week. An agency sending from an applicant tracking system may need Sign Solutions; one sending by hand does not.
Contractors and home service companies
Estimates, change orders and lien waivers signed on a phone at the job site. The signer limit and file size matter more than integrations.
